We are seeking a dynamic individual with awesome people and technical skills to take on the role of Junior Data Specialist in our highly skilled and diverse Data Management Team. Your skills in data management, data governance, automation, migration, and customer relations will ensure that the Council meets its corporate data management responsibilities.

The leading-edge work of the Data Management Team has been recognised internationally and this innovative work is synonymous with how we run our day-to-day operations.

This role is responsible for working with the organisation's data stewards and owners to ensure that data management processes and governance are in place to facilitate efficient and reliable data collection. To be successful in this role you will:

- Have a good understanding and passion for data management and quality
- Have the ability to discern and document customer requirements
- Assist with data transformation and integration from both internal and external data sources
- Assist with the development and running of quality assurance processes to ensure data is fit for purpose and meets legislative requirements.
- Assist with the design and development of automated data processes

- Salary - _The salary band for this position goes from $57,613 to $77,978_
