Join our Allied Health Scientific and Technical Directorate in an innovative leadership role.

Expressions of interest are invited for either service or as a joint role across both services.

Reporting to the Chief of Allied Health, Scientific and Technical professions, this role is responsible for the professional governance, leadership and direction of allied health, scientific and technical workforce, services and strategy within a specified division and supporting the delivery of organisational strategic goals.

The role will work closely and actively within clinical and managerial partnerships with the General Managers, Clinical Directors, Clinical Nurse Directors, other Clinical Directors of Allied Health Scientific and Technical and Professional Leaders to deliver a high performing health system and achieve divisional and organisational objectives.

There is a requirement to provide leadership and support to operational managers within the division in the design and implementation of initiatives with a strong clinical focus ensuring alignment with divisional priorities. With a strong focus on the models of care, safety, quality and patient experience improvement and workforce support you will be involved in the development and implementation of interdisciplinary whole of system approach to service delivery.

**Essential**:

- NZ registered Allied Health professional with current APC
- 7-10 years clinical experience preferably in the service area (HOP or Community Health)
- Post graduate qualification - Masters in Leadership/Health Management or working towards one
- Previous leadership experience
- Demonstrated ability in managing risks and leading improvement initiatives
- Proven ability to co-ordinate a group of people to achieve agreed goals
