**Location**: The role will predominantly be based across the two locations of; Wellington Regional Hospital and Hutt Hospital, though will also spend time visiting other sites within the Wellington region.

Kōrero mō te tūranga ' About the role
This is a key role providing Allied Professions leadership for services and workforces working across the range of service groups of; Children's, Women's Health & Acute Care services for Te Whatu Ora Capital, Coast & Hutt Valley.
This role works as a key clinical partner with service group leadership teams across the District, to deliver high quality and sustainable services for people receiving Children's, Women's Health & Acute Care services across the continuum of care.
The position is central to leading and fostering engagement, clinical excellence, leadership and workforce planning for the Allied Professions within these service areas. The individual will be key in driving and supporting contemporary model of care development that prioritises equity and fully utilises the expertise of the Allied Professions workforce to deliver on strategic priorities.
This is a full-time, permanent position, although consideration will be given for applicants looking for part-time hours. Please state your preferred hours in your cover letter.
Mō tō mātou rōpū ' About our team
The role reports to the Chief Allied Professions Officer and works within the Allied Professions Leadership team as one of five Director Allied Professions roles and alongside our Allied Professions Cultural Leadership roles for Māori Health and Pacific Peoples Health. The team also includes a number of Allied Health Professional Leader roles, Workforce Coordinator roles and Allied Professions Care Capacity & Demand Management Coordinators.
The role works closely with Operational Managers across the District and a range of other key roles and functions.

To be successful in this role you will be an experienced Allied Leader who can evidence effective leadership in previous roles. You will be able to take a strategic focus and take ownership for driving opportunities and identifying solutions for complex systems and issues.
You will have a high level of communication and relationship based skills and be committed to enacting Te Tiriti o Waitangi and prioritising pro-equity solutions.
Being in a leadership role that drives the contribution and value of the Allied Professions will energise you, and alongside this you are motivated in supporting the transformation required to deliver Pae Ora.
