Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
The Orthopaedic Service at Auckland City and Greenlane Hospitals provides specialist secondary care for the wider Auckland region and tertiary care for complex conditions for the whole of New Zealand and the Pacific. We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic and enthusiastic individual, with a real interest in improving the patient pathway through the health system, to join our team on a two year plus fixed term contract/secondment. This is a full time, Monday to Friday role.
Bring your data skills and process improvement focus into a critical role in health sector administration/management as a Patient Pathway Coordinator - Supervisor, based at Auckland City Hospital. This is a full time, Monday to Friday role.
Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills
- You will be experienced in database management
- You will be very comfortable using multiple data sources to effectively track the movement of patients
- You will have an eye for detail, and an approach which identifies issues and uses logic and initiative to find the solutions
- You will have experience of the health sector, or bring significant transferable skills from a similar sector.
- You will have a strong sense of urgency and be able to prioritise competing demands.
- You will have well developed communication skills and will be able to confidently share feedback in a constructive manner.
