Health NZ is excited to be looking for a permanent National Director to provide leadership for the ecosystem of Mental Health and Addictions.
In this role you hold overall accountability for achieving the mental health targets, ensuring relevant financial targets are met and leading activities to ensure priorities and associated work programmes are completed and achieved. Your portfolio includes service performance and improvements, planning, workforce, infrastructure and data to ensure we can positively shift the dial on our performance for Mental Health and Addictions patients, their whanau and our communities.
You are already a senior leader in Mental Health and Addiction services. You have a passion for healthcare, demonstrating previous abilty to improve healthcare outcomes across complex systems with multiple stakeholders and interests. You understand how governance works and are trusted to lead, advise and achieve across the sector, and as a key relationship contact. You are calm and professional and interested in a role that has a wide breadth and touches all New Zealanders.
