Ko tōu ake mahi - What You'll Do
We have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to work collaboratively across government and society to transform New Zealand's approach to mental wellbeing through Kia Manawanui: Longterm pathway to mental wellbeing (Kia Manawanui) and related priority programmes. The Mental Health and Addiction Group at Manatū Hauora is leading the way with a great team of positive, energetic, and collegial individuals who work collaboratively with each other, and with stakeholders, to deliver on our mahi. We support each other and celebrate wins.
As Principal Policy Analyst you will be responsible for the development and delivery of quality policy advice to improve mental health & addiction outcomes for New Zealanders. With a specific focus on coordinating and progressing our programme of policy work focused on a health-based approach to alcohol and other drug (AOD) use and supporting mental wellbeing throughout the spectrum of substance use, addiction, and recovery needs.
