Property Council New Zealand has partnered with Emergent in its search for an exceptional
**Digital Communications Advisor**.

Property Council is the one membership association that champions property, bringing together members from all corners of the property ecosystem to advocate for reduced red tape that enables development.

A not-for-profit organisation, the Property Council connects a network of 10,000 property professionals, championing the interests of over 500 member companies.

Their membership is broad and includes some of the largest commercial and residential property owners and developers in New Zealand. The sector comes together at their local, national and online events, which offer professional development, exceptional networking and access to industry-leading research.

As the
**Digital**
**Communications Advisor,** you’ll be the ultimate wing-person to Property Council’s Head of Communications. You'll be located at their Auckland Central office, working alongside smart, talented people intent on fostering an environment of respect, passion and fun.

In this new and exciting role, you’ll lead the creation of fresh and engaging content for use across multiple digital media platforms, including websites, e-newsletters, social media and Property Council’s new online community platform.

You’ll be responsible for:

- crafting and publishing web content
- curating and creating social media content across multiple platforms
- designing and mailing e-newsletters

In addition to the core duties, you'll also get the chance to work across various projects, including event marketing (there are a LOT of events) and government relations.

You might be someone who's recently kicked off your career, or perhaps with a couple of years of experience under your belt in the digital marketing space.

You’ll need:

- comfort and understanding of website CMS, ideally in WordPress
- video editing and graphic design skills (ideal but not essential)
- to be a total creative wordsmith - able to throw together content and captions that are engaging to our audiences
- a keen interest in property
- excellent communication skills and the ability to juggle several projects at once
- a willingness to learn about our members and the psychology of building a membership community
- attention to detail and a proactive approach to organisation and planning
- to be able to work independently and manage your own time effectively through workload prioritisation in order to meet deadlines
- a positive 'can do' attitude

You’ll be a quick learner with top-notch computer skills, particularly across the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel), WordPress, Canva and at least some experience in, or desire to learn, Adobe products such as InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, etc.
