Digital Advisor, Te Kura Kaiwhakawā

We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Advisor to join our collaborative and supportive team in Te Kura Kaiwhakawā | The Institute of Judicial Studies (Te Kura) based in Wellington. Te Kura provides ongoing education and legal resources to support the judiciary of Aotearoa New Zealand
You'll enjoy a varied role, responsible for the development and maintenance of our websites, producing content that will engage and inform our users, and supporting the end-to-end delivery of Te Kura's digital projects.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Working with the wider Te Kura team to drive our digital content strategy.
- Develop multi-media content for Te Kura's intranet and external website, including text, graphics and video.
- Support the publishing of Te Kura's online resources, using Te Kura's cloud-based structured component authoring solution.
- Using Google Analytics, develop and deliver data-driven insights and reporting.
- Support the delivery of digital enhancement projects for Te Kura, including the further adoption of SharePoint and MS 365 tools.

This role would suit someone with at least three years' experience managing digital channels and content databases, with experience in using back-end content management systems for websites. Your ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively will be key to your success in this role, as will your flexibility, critical thinking skills and creativity.

Ō pūkenga/Skills and Experience

**We are keen to hear from you if you have**:

- A tertiary qualification in communications or another relevant field.
- A strong understanding of digital communications as part of a strategic approach to engaging with audiences.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, in particular writing, editing, and proofing.
- Experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
- The ability to quickly establish and build strong working relationships and to develop trust and credibility with key internal and external stakeholders.
- An understanding of te ao Māori, te reo and tikanga and a personal commitment to continuing to develop knowledge of, and in, these three areas.
- Initiative, resilience, agility and a commitment to working collaboratively in a small team.
- Knowledge of the Justice Sector and Government is preferred.

While it's not a must, having skills in UX design, instructional design, video editing, web development, and business analysis would really give you an edge.

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The appointing salary for this role will be between $83,562 and $107,862 based on skills and experience.
