Our Opportunity
As the National Depot Operations Manager, you will lead, direct and oversee the operational effectiveness of Goodman Fielder's main distribution centres (referred to as ‘hubs') in Auckland, Palmerston North and Christchurch. You will lead a team of 3 direct reports and 60 team members in a 24/7 food supply chain.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Supporting the development and implementation of a strategic plan including future footprint requirements to support the business's growth aspirations
- Provide leadership to the hub managers and their teams
- Create and lead a high-performance and zero harm safety culture
- Implement change initiatives within the hub network
- Ensure aligned and consistent business processes across the hub network
- Ensure operations comply with legal, regulatory and safety standards set by external and internal GF requirements
- Develop and report on KPIs to ensure we operate with best practice
- Set and maintain consistent operational standards for all hubs across the network including RMP and internal audits
- Manage Hubs operations to budget & deliver optimal customer service at minimum cost
- Ensure correct processes and efficient 3rd party picking operations

About You
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Warehouse\Logistics management roles
- Experience in FMCG, Retail or time critical logistics preferred
- A working knowledge of SAP is essential
- Growth mindset, ability to initiate and lead change
- Commercial and financial literacy
- Lead and implement continuous improvements
- Ability to lead and influence others
- A strong understanding of warehouse processes is essential
