In this newly established position, you will become a key part of the LPG senior leadership team, assisting in the implementation of the updated LPG strategy and ensuring that LPG delivery remains a crucial part in fulfilling Genesis' broader Gen35 objectives.

**About the role**

The Delivery Manager plays a pivotal role in steering the national operational activities of our Genesis LPG depots, and delivery fleet based throughout the country. This includes ensuring our customers receive their LPG products in a manner that is not only safe and reliable, but also cost efficient. You will be instrumental in fostering a team that is both sustainable, and excels in performance, underpinned by a culture deeply rooted in safety and customer centricity. This role will have full operational accountability of all depots and depot personnel, budget management, optimisation of operating expenses, and act as the conduit between other areas of LPG and the wider business to ensure delivery and strategic targets are met.

**About you**
- Proven senior leadership experience across multiple sites and large teams.
- Previous experience, or a sound understanding of managing P&L's and data analysis and insights.
- Demonstrable experience managing complex and challenging customer relationships and resolutions.
- Proven HSE and process safety background
- Effective senior leadership experience with the ability to evaluate information, determine options, plan and implement the decision to ensure the best outcome for the business.
- Proven ability to manage up and down effectively with strong interpersonal communication skills both verbally and written.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity which could be based anywhere in New Zealand, but preference will be given to Hamilton based applicants. The role requires frequent travel to our sites nationwide. NOTE: The internal title of this role is Delivery Manager.
