Are you an experienced Executive Assistant that can support our senior leadership team? We are looking for a self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with the energy and ability to juggle multiple priorities. This is a fixed term role to cover Maternity leave for six months.

**About the Role**
The Executive Assistant is a key role at the Council supporting three of our Executive Leadership Team members; Director - Resource Management, Director - Environment Quality and Director - Corporate Services.
Providing professional administrative and organisational ability the Executive Assistant will be part of the wider Administrative team at the Council but will primarily support our Executive Leadership Team members with a variety of tasks, some of which include;
- Diary management including arranging and working with external and internal stakeholders
- Communications on behalf of the Directors through supporting regular team meetings and the development of presentation material and agenda management
- Travel and expense management including invoicing and budget management
**About you**
We’re looking for someone who brings integrity and professionalism to their work. You will need to be agile, resourceful and have exceptional relationship building skills. You will have demonstrable administration experience and may be looking to enhance that in a local government environment.
We like to set people up for success so you’ll be a leading applicant if you have:
- Proven experience in an administrative role supporting senior leaders
- Superb time management and attention to detail in order to set yourself and the Executive team up for success
- Great technical ability; you are digitally savvy with a growth mindset when it comes to new and evolving technology suites
- Attention to detail, the desire to get things right first-time and pride in delivering excellent support
- An inquisitive and curious mind that is focused on continuous process improvement
