We
are currently seeking a Rosters Officer - Specialist Mental Health
Services (SMHS) you will be working within this fast-paced
environment to provide support for the inpatient nursing staffing
function for SMHS Inpatient Units. As this is a fixed term, full-time
position, we are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, is
flexible and adaptable to change.

This role will involve maintaining the rostering database for SMHS
Pool Staff and ensuring that all required administration and data entry duties
are completed in an accurate, timely and efficient manner.
You will be responsible for
- Facilitating replacement of nursing staff across SMHS
Inpatient Units
- Maintaining the casual pool availability roster
database, update details and availability as required, ensure that all data
entry and associated reports/templates are up to date and accurate.
- Completing Microster transactions for the SMHS pool
roster and nursing agency staff in an accurate, timely manner
- Collating requests for pool staff and allocating these
under guidance of the CNM.
In addition, you will be the point of contact for staff regarding
notification of absences and rostering changes, promptly communicate absences
to relevant areas, and contact replacement staff as required/agreed. You will
also be expected to undertake various clerical/administrative tasks to support
the CNM, including maintaining up-to-date filing systems and databases,
ordering supplies as required, and undertaking other duties as reasonably
directed by the CNM.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent
administrative and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work in a
fast-paced and dynamic environment. You should also have experience in
maintaining databases and providing support for nursing staff, as well as
excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

- Word processing, including Windows, with
attention to detail

detail
- Good organisational skills and being able to
prioritise
- Good general computer knowledge
- Accurate grammar and punctuation
- Good communication skills and being able to
work as part of a team
- Able to perform under frequent periods of
pressure
