With the new year upon us it is a great time to jump into a new role using your communications expertise. Join our amazing Marketing & Communications team in a part time 20 hours a week Communications Advisor role where you will be developing and implementing internal communications for staff and creating press releases and other external communications that appeal to referrers, funders, patients and communities. This opportunity can be based in Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch and is 20 hours a week.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Collaborate with our CEO and leadership team to drive company-wide communication strategies and initiatives.
- Work closely with our People and Culture team to drive greater staff engagement
- Create and deliver internal communications related to company updates, projects, and milestones
- Develop compelling and informative content such as articles, blog posts, press releases, and social media updates to effectively promote the company
- Develop and utilise innovative approaches to optimise our use of Social media platforms
- Work with external agencies and internal stakeholders on our websites in collaboration with the Brand Manager and Communications & Marketing Advisor
- Monitor and analyse communication metrics to measure the effectiveness of strategies.

About you:
We are after someone who has a proven track record of collaborating effectively with leadership to provide engaging communications to internal staff and wider audiences. A degree in Marketing or Communications would be ideal along with your excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills.

The successful applicant will have:

- a minimum of three years’ experience in a communications role
- a proactive and positive mindset
- a willingness to help out with varied tasks across the team
- the ability to manage several priorities simultaneously
- high emotional intelligence
- consistent ability to meet deadlines
- strong planning, time management and organisational skills
- experience with videography - taking video, editing and posting.
