The Data & Analytics Platform takes care of ASBs data warehousing environments, extracting data from systems and transforming it into a format that that helps our organisation make insightful business decisions. The platform has several squads, made up of Business Intelligence Engineers, Analytics Aficionados, Transformative Data Modellers, Cloud Data Dabblers and SQL Magicians.

**About the role**:
In this role you will be part of a team primarily responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and operating ASBs on-premise data warehousing environment. You will learn on the job, helping your autonomous squad drive uplift in the data capability at ASB by contributing to the planning, implementation, and support of on-premise and cloud-based solutions that are fit for the future.

**About you**:
You will bring to the role some prior education and/or experience from other data roles or the broader IT industry. Experience working within in a data savvy organisation and familiarity with working in an Agile environment are a plus. You enjoy working within a team environment and can build and maintain effective relationships across a diverse range of customer and stakeholder groups.

Technically, you will have a baseline of SQL knowledge, and some understanding of data processes and structures. Prior experience in other IT roles such as infrastructure, software/web development, design, or service operations is very useful, and any exposure to tools like PowerBI, SSRS/SSIS, ETL/ELT tools like Wherescape RED, and API is very advantageous.

Some exposure to or knowledge of cloud-based data solutions is also a plus.

The right attitude and an enthusiasm for learning new things will help you quickly learn any technical skills that you may be missing.
