**THE OPPORTUNITY**

We’re on the hunt for a seasoned **Senior Data Engineer** to take the reins of our data infrastructure and lead transformative projects that shape the future of our data capabilities. **HOW YOU’LL DO IT**

You’ll be at the forefront of our data operations, responsible for:

- Leading high-impact data projects and architectural decisions.
- Optimising and maintaining robust ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like Airflow or NiFi.
- Managing and evolving our data warehouse to ensure secure, efficient access and integration.
- Championing data governance, security, and compliance across all engineering activities.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data ingestion and extraction.
- Mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

**ABOUT YOU**

You’re a strategic thinker and hands-on leader with:

- 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
- Expertise in cloud platforms (GCP or AWS preferred).
- Strong command of Python, MySQL, PowerShell, and Bash.
- A deep understanding of data warehousing, modelling, and governance.
- Experience with Git and Linux environments.
- A proactive mindset and a passion for solving complex problems.
