Te tūnga | The role
As Team Leader Data Collection, you will report to the Manager Data Collection to support the day-to-day leadership of a Data Collection team. You are first and foremost a people leader and your role will include motivating, coaching, and directing an integrated, multi-modal team of up to 20 that supports the wider Data Collection team to achieve the best possible outcomes for our customers and suppliers. Developing and maintaining strong links with internal stakeholders, including the design, planning and data collection teams are key.

**You will also**:

- Build effective and high performing teams
- Be responsible for data collection practices within a multi-modal team, managing escalations, audits, training and coaching
- Develop and maintain links with communities and customers
- Lead day to day operation, including allocating local and national work to your team members
- Facilitate effective communication, as a remote leader, with all internal & external key stakeholders
- Take responsibility for the health, safety, and wellbeing management of your team

- Possess a relevant tertiary qualification and/or comparable relevant experience
- Proven experience managing both team and individual performance and capability development
- Experience working with CRM systems, Work Allocation tools or concepts and telephony software, i.e., Salesforce, PureCloud and Excel
- Proven experience working in a service delivery environment
- Understands the end-to-end data collection process with sound knowledge of key legislation around people leadership, including the Employment Relations Act, and the Health and Safety at Work Act.
- Be available to travel domestically as required, have reliable internet access, a current driver's licence and a fully insured, reliable vehicle that can be used for work purposes
