Hamilton, New Zealand Higgins Full time

Our Higgins team in Hamilton are looking for a permanent full time Civil Engineering Technician to join them working on the SH1 Piarere to Wairakei project.

As a Civil Engineering Technician you will provide effective and proactive support through accurate and timely data and documentation control, plan, and monitor quality assurance in different roading surfaces.

You’ll also facilitate onsite field testing, using mathematical and machinery procedures and to give you the full experience you will also be supporting the team in the field by operating machinery and undertaking general labouring work as required.

**What you’ll bring to the role**:

- Civil Engineering Diploma, Degree or similar
- Class 1 Driving License with WTR endorsement
- Experience on New Zealand civils and roading projects in an Engineering capacity (1 year +)
- Ability to work nights shift and dayshift, including weekends
- Self-motivation, a positive attitude, and the ability to think for yourself
- Be a reliable, honest, and flexible team-player
- Great attention to detail and accuracy
- Have excellent time management skills

This is a full time, permanent role working 40 hours per week. Competitive salary on offer between $60k - $65k per annum.
