Base Civil is a New Zealand owned civil construction company that works in partnership with both private organisations and local government clients throughout the central North Island. We provide end-to-end Civil construction Services Waikato-wide.

**The Role**:
This is a fantastic role that will suit someone who is outcome-focused, enjoys a challenge, and is able to take initiative whilst building great relationships with the team and stakeholders.

This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week. You must have an excellent understanding of civil engineering work. Training and applicable courses will be provided if required.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Prepare data spreadsheets, calculations and base design sketches for various civil engineering works.
- Carrying out fieldwork and overseeing laboratory and field testing. Data analysis and perform engineering calculations.
- Produce engineering reports and plans.
- Estimating materials and labour costs of various civil engineering activities.
- Generate work plans, health and safety, quality, and environmental plans.
- Monitor, record and report compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications.
