Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
Come and join a small and highly motivated team that is passionate about improving equitable outcomes and reducing cervical cancer diagnosis and mortality in Aotearoa. We are supported by colleagues as part of the National Screening Unit as well as expertise of an excellent clinical team and analytics team. You'll be joining the team at a time where there is buy-in to make important changes to the cervical screening programme in Aotearoa. As Senior Advisor you will provide high quality advice that informs programme delivery and supports innovative solutions. You will work with key partners to ensure that the NCSP is of a high standard, is Whaine centered and is focused on achieving equitable outcomes. This role is based in Wellington.

To succeed in this role, you will be able to quickly gain recognition as a trusted advisor on the alignment of programme strategy, people and processes. You'll confidently manage relationships at all levels across organisations and communicate well. This role is suited to someone who enjoys working in a results focused environment that requires initiative, flexibility and confidence working with ambiguity.

This role requires and/or would benefit from the following;
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a willingness to learn and grow
- Strong experience in coordinating projects and meeting deadlines
- Experience in health and supporting service change, with experience in health sector education and development of education strategies a bonus
- A relevant tertiary qualifications or other relevant education and career history
