**Collaborate with Project Managers and staff on Health and Safety issues in a manufacturing and construction environment.**

**About the company**

With around 140 permanent employees, split between Auckland, Hamilton, Whanganui, Wellington this company is a significant partner in the construction industry working on a variety of projects, both commercial and residential.

**About the role**

On a daily basis, you’ll be a visible and approachable advisor for all matters related to safety, health and wellbeing. A pragmatic approach is needed to provide advice and guidance to Project Managers on how to ensure manufacturing and site work is safe. With an ongoing digital transformation project underway, you will be involved in the further rollout and expansion of additional elements. Some local travel will be required.

**Duties**
- Lead the health and safety committee
- Undertake inductions and HS training
- Maintain the safety management systems
- Contractor management
- Ongoing audits

**Skills and experience**

With energy and passion for wellbeing, health and safety, to be successful in this role you’ll be open and approachable, be able to support staff in a construction and manufacturing environment.
