This is mahi that will improve the health and well-being of everyone in Aotearoa, and we've got an opportunity for you to be part of it **Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity** This role is responsible for leading and facilitating change management activities within and across the Te Whatu Ora change programme to ensure the successful delivery of HR structural change initiatives and strategic outcomes. The role is responsible for analysing, planning, implementing, and evaluating change processes and strategies, facilitating a collaborative approach to change across the organisation and building ownership and capability in change leadership. **Mōu | About you** In support of the work driven by the Head of Change and Workforce Transition role, ensure that there is an up-to-date integrated organisational wide management of change plan inclusive of priorities and activities to deliver on the health reform intent, legislation, and performance expectations of Te Whatu Ora. Develop workable solutions to highly complex and sensitive issues, often in a context of imperfect information and contested authority, with high risk of unintended consequences. Oversee the most appropriate change approach to achieve the desired outcome of each change project initiated. Develop change policy and mature the change methodologies, practices, templates, tools, and capabilities for Te Whatu Ora **Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience** - Has an advanced knowledge of change management techniques required for large-scale, complex transformational change. Has a proven ability to work with senior leadership to coordinate and successfully implement time-sensitive change, on-scale, in a political environment. - Demonstrated ability to see the "big picture" and understand the strategic political context of the health reform change agenda. Must therefore be familiar and comfortable with leading a change programme where a high degree of ambiguity and uncertainty exists. - Strong interpersonal, relationship management and influencing skills are a necessity, along with senior leadership level experience and responsibility for managing people, budgets, forecasting, and cost management. - Experience in giving meaningful effect to the expectations outlined in Te Tiriti o Waitangi in their position(s)/at a leadership level. - A relevant tertiary qualification or comparable experience working at a senior leadership level. - Change management qualifications e.g., PROSCI, Kotter, ADKAR. **Ka kawea e koe | You will bring**: - Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth **Ko te mahi e tika ana mō te ao hurihuri nei |Work that suits today's ever -changing world** Te Whatu Ora supports flexible and hybrid working for our kaimahi.
