**THE ROLE**

Ventia has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Project Supervisor to be part of their team in Rotorua.

This role will see you be responsible for the supervision and coordination of site activities, including supervision of people, contractors, material, plant and schedule for various Electrical projects in the HV, Distribution, and Industrial sectors.

This is an exciting opportunity as this role will see you work very closely with your team and run multiple jobs that varies in scope and size. You will be working collaboratively with the Project Managers and have the opportunity or potential to interface with the client’s Field Managers.

This role has a strong focus on health and safety and you will have input to our staff training programme.

**ABOUT YOU**

You will ideally be an Electrical fitter/Electrician (but not a requirement) working in the HV industry with at least 5-10 years’ experience. HV switchgear and substation maintenance experience is preferred and Strong leadership skills and ability to lead a team by example are essential.

Transpower experience is also preferred but not a requirement.

This role will suit someone who is methodical, organized, good at documentation, good communication and coordination skills, and good people person and is Health and Safety conscious.
