**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

We require a Clinical Project Lead to drive and lead this project alongside the Starship Community senior and clinical leadership teams and the national team. This full-time, fixed term position is for the duration of the project. Working within and alongside the Starship Community team, the Clinical Project Lead manages the service level project from a clinical and project management perspective.

This unique senior nursing position will challenge you to deliver a combination of project management and clinical expertise. You will be highly motivated and organised. Your experience of Well Child Tamariki Ora service delivery and effective collaboration with Māori and Pacific kaimahi with expertise in Te Ao Māori cultural navigation will support your effectiveness in this role.

The Clinical Project Lead will
- Provide project leadership of the Kahu Taurima pilot project, to ascertain the equitable outcomes for tamariki referred for Well Child Tamariki Ora services at Starship Community
- Manage the project progress, measurement and evaluation and also have clinical oversight reporting to the steering group
- Maintain oversight of transition of service delivery from the current WCTO schedule to the revised delivery schedule including training, onboarding of kaimahi and that they remain engaged in the project
- Collect and collate whanau and kaimahi experience, feedback and suggestions to make services more whanau centred, acceptable, accessible, including compliments and complaints
- Develop reporting tools and data to measure success and outcomes.

Essential
- A commitment to biculturalism
- A commitment to achieving equitable outcomes for Māori
- Registered nurse with APC- Well child/Tamariki Ora experience.
- Clinical leadership experience and or maturity demonstrated by a range of life skills with children and their families/whanau
- Experience supporting or leading quality improvement initiatives
- Demonstrated self-management skills and solutions focused
- Current, clean, NZ Driving Licence

Desired
- Relevant experience in project management
