Te Whatu Ora Waitematā - Child, Women and Family has an opportunity for a Clinical Director of Women’s Health.
A core part of the role is providing clinical leadership within the service while establishing and maintaining effective relationships across the district and wider organisation
- Key responsibilities include:_
- Providing effective leadership across the Women’s health portfolio
- Leading the development and direction of the service
- Ensuring the delivery of high quality, equitable clinical practice and patient care through continuous quality improvement
- Providing professional direction, coaching and mentoring of medical staff and students
- Overseeing workforce planning and development
- Working with the operations manager to develop clinical metrics, improve clinical outcomes and ensure positive patient experience
- Dual responsibility with operations manager for the financial performance including expenditure and allocation of both operational and capital budget
