**We are looking for a Venue Manager to lead our Badgers and take the saloon to the next level with exceptional experiences, kick-ass events and a dominating beverage program.**

Honey Badger’s just don’t give a f*#% Beehives and poisonous snakes are just another tasty treat for these deceptively bass-ass creatures. Are you fearless? Determined? Creative? Intelligent? Ferocious? Hungry? Then you may be the Badger we are looking for.

The Honey Badger Saloon is designed for good times, loud music, and eclectic tastes. We understand just like the Honey Badger, that will sometimes eat fruit and berries and other times devour Cobra’s or Black Mamba’s, there needs to be choice. Our bar program offers everything from crate bottles to local craft pints, taptails to slushies as well as premium tequilas, mezcals and all your favourite spirits.

We are owned and operated by Kāpura and a huge part of our culture and values is caring for our people and creating great customer experiences through delivering memorable hospitality. **What we’ll love about you**:

- You will be a motivating and hands on leader - the team will be keen to follow you and come along for the journey
- You will be able to shift gears as required - there will be the need to change and flex in this role
- You understand the difference between “customer service” and creating a fantastic “customer experience” - creating the feeling of manaakitanga in your venue, with your customers and with your team
- You will be energetic and enthusiastic with great communication skills
- You can demonstrate previous success in leading and developing teams
- You understand the numbers and have sound cost control and revenue generating ability
- Minimum of 5 years experience in hospitality with at least 2 years in a senior manager role
- And of course, from the compliance angle you will need your LCQ/GM Certificate
