Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
We - re looking for a digital content advisor who is passionate about digital communications and who thinks innovatively about how to engage with our diverse audiences. You will work with our senior digital advisor and other team members to develop and consolidate our websites and intranets and help grow and diversify our social media engagement. Mō tō mātou rōpū - About our team
The Communications and Engagement function provides strategic advice, communications and engagement planning to services operating within the Capital, Coast and Hutt Valley District. Our team is involved in the execution of communications and engagement across a range of areas including; content generation, external communications, media and issues management, stakeholder and community engagement, change communications, project support, internal communications and engagement, digital engagement, events, branding and design, and executive correspondence and management of official information requests
Moū - About you

**We - re looking for someone who has**:

- A communicator with proven skills in developing digital strategies and user-centred content
- Experience supporting digital channels and working with stakeholders to maintain and update content
- Experience creating social media content, including video content
- Experience scheduling social media content, including campaigns, and using analytics to inform decision-making and grow user communities
- Ability to investigate, analyse and contextualise issues, identifying key points to be addressed and simple plans to resolve problems
- Experience in stakeholder engagement, identifying stakeholder groups and establishing channels for dialogue
- Excellent ability to write in, and translate to, plain English and proven experience in ensuring compliance with the NZ Government Web StandardsE pā ana ki a tatou - About us
