Our Opportunity
We are recruiting for a Team Leader who will effectively lead, coach and develop the chiller team to consistently deliver exceptionally high service levels in all areas, whilst increasing the capability of the team. Reporting to the Senior Team Leader, the Team Leader will make a strong contribution by leading a high performing Supply Chain team and encourage a positive culture within GF.
This opportunity is based at our Quality Bakers site in Palmerston North.
Payrate for this role starts at around $25/26 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that products are delivered on time and in good condition to meet the customer requirements
- Ensure all daily quality checks meet internal key measures before product delivery
- Implement improvements in the day to day responsibilities of the team to improve performance
- Ensure systems are in place to measure team efficiency and outcomes
- Evaluate the operational activities with a mindset of continuous improvement
- Provide leadership and support and commit to the development & growth of the team
- Assist with other duties as required
- Commitment to zero harm safety culture

Who are we looking for?
- Experience with leading a team within a fast paced FMCG environment(preferred)
- Minimum 2 years Supply Chain experience in a people leadership position
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to be a team player as well as work autonomously.
- Ability to work to deadlines and effective time management through prioritization of tasks
- SAP experience (preferred but not mandatory)
- Basic understanding of Excel & Word to enter data into spreadsheets.
