**Mō te tūranga | About the role**

You would be delivering exceptional customer service to enhance passenger journey experience on public transport in this **part-time **role by:

- Providing customer service information via different contact channels and face to face at the Transport Centre and responding to Bee Card, BUSIT, Te Huia, and Flex enquiries.
- Assisting with the timely consideration and response to customer feedback/complaints
- Supporting the delivery of customer facing aspects of the Bee Card ticketing system including issuing and registering of cards, top ups, account management and timely management of and resolutions of customer queries.
- Supporting the delivery of external stakeholder engagements activities to increase utilisation of the public transport system.
- Occasionally assisting events delivery outside of normal working hours and on weekends.
- Day to day management of lost property.
- Assisting with back-office administration.

This role is part-time, 20 hours per week worked across Tuesday, Thursday & Friday

**Mō ngā pūkenga | Qualifications and experience**
- NZQA Level 3 in literacy and numeracy or equivalent.
- _Minimum of one year customer service experience including cash handling and bank reconciliation. _

- Customer Focus team are located at the Transport Centre. This role is based at our customer service counter, providing bus and rail customer service and ticketing, and advice relating to our public transport services and products. On occasion we spend time out in the community promoting our public transport services. _
