Here at Small Business Services (SBS), our people work as a collective. With an agile operating model that is centred around team members who work interchangeably across all functions of our service delivery model, our people are champions of collaboration and adaptability.
As a Senior Analyst Insights, you will play a key role within the Small Business Services cohort by helping to manage the Better for Business portfolio of SBS insights products, designed to inform and shape the development of products and services targeted towards supporting New Zealand small businesses.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who’s eager to dive into data, turning insights into action and transforming strategic ideas into reality.

- Proven experience driving dynamic data collection, crafting eye-catching insights reports, and cross-agency collaboration.
- Sound project managements skills which allow the team to operate effectively to support the achievement of MBIE outcomes.
- Highly developed relationship and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to develop trusted long-lasting relationships.
- Strong communication skills in a variety of formats, and experience in being able to adapt messaging for a variety of audiences, including formal reporting. Proven coaching skills and experience to embed a culture of excellence in the team.
- Can demonstrate a high level of experience in machinery of government, process improvement, stakeholder consultation processes, and stakeholder relationship management.
- Have a relevant tertiary education and work experience for the role.
- Must have legal right to live and work in NZ.
