About the role

Our Projects & Real Estate department are looking for an enthusiastic and talented legal secretary to join our busy projects and real estate team in Auckland. This role will see you:

- Supporting our construction and commercial property lawyers as well as other lawyers in the wider team
- Preparing documentation: legal documents, clients reports, settlement statements
- Liaising with clients on behalf of the legal staff; taking phone messages
- A wide range of other administrative duties as required.

Skills and experience
- Property legal secretary experience
- Experience with landonline and associated documentation (preferred)
- ADLS forms website (preferred)
- Understanding of basic sale and purchase agreements (preferred)
- Advanced MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) and Mail Merge
- A “can-do” and happy to help attitude with the ability to be flexible and operate as part of a team,
- A proactive approach to your work - the ability to work on tasks unprompted and anticipate needs,
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude
- An eye for detail and a high standard of accuracy
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Impeccable time management skills and an ability to prioritise.
