**Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role**

Key responsibilities:

- Lead the recruitment events and activities for the faculties with the goal of increasing the number of domestic students choosing to study within these faculties.
- Provide advice and support to your faculties on domestic recruitment opportunities.
- Evaluate and monitor faculty recruitment initiatives.

**Ō pūmanawa - About you**

You will:

- Be customer-focused, highly organised and proactive.
- Be confident in building working relationships and networks, have a passion for event management and enjoy a challenge.
- Be comfortable presenting to large groups and use your experience in people facing roles to engage with a diverse range of audiences.
- Have a university qualification and experience working in a university, tertiary or public sector environment.
- Have experience in student recruitment, marketing or event management.
- Have ability to work with people at all levels and establish working relationships and networks.
- Have an understanding of the New Zealand secondary school systems.
- Have availability to travel outside Wellington and for working evenings and weekends on limited occasions.
