The divisionprovides various levels of service and accommodation to support people with neurological and physical disabilities such as our 40-bed residential hospital level care facility St John of God Karori. Key responsibilities of this role involve providing personal care for people with a range of abilities while supporting and promoting the Mission and Values of St John of God Hauora Trust.

Currently, at St John of God Karori, we have vacanciesforexperienced and overall well-rounded Support Workers with exemplary caring skills preferably at level 3 or above. We are looking for casual and part-time (working approximately 18-24 hours per week) Support Workers. You will be expected to work in accordance with the rotating shift roster, which may include weekends. Hourly pay rates range from $22.49 to $28.25 depending on qualification level plus allowances.
- Caregiving experience
- Experience working in the Disability sector with amulti-disciplinary therapy team
- Existing Work Visa with 2 New Zealand work referees.

- Experience supporting clients with Huntingtons disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurons, Cerebral Palsy, Stroke patients and people suffering from traumatic brain injuries
