A highly sought-after shift routine has become available at our Community Homes in A Tuesday to Friday, 3.30pm to 8.30pm for a total of 20 hours per week

St John of God Addington is perfectly situated in central Addington and comprises 2 modern purpose-built homes for the support of our 12 residents. The residents at Addington are people over the age of 16 who have physical and/or neurological disabilities and require assistance with their personal cares and general household tasks such a laundry, menu planning, shopping and cooking. There is a wonderful communal spirit at the homes upheld by the mission and strong values of our organisation, Hospitality, Respect, Justice, Excellence and compassion.

In addition to your top-notch healthcare skills and clinical abilities, we place a great deal of importance on passion, friendliness, positivity, and dedication. These are the attributes that our Support Workers/Caregivers require to enhance the way they communicate and relate to our residents, colleagues, and peers and are just as important as your technical skills.

**Essential requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years Caregiving experience.
- Current First Aid Qualification.
- Minimum of Career forceLevel 3.
- Sound knowledge of manual handling techniques.
- Existing Work Visa with 2 New Zealand work referees.
