St John of God Halswell provides hospital level care for people with physical and or neurological disabilities. We prefer our Support Workers to have a minimum of 2 years experienceworking as a Support Worker at hospital-level care. Experience working in the Disability sector with a multi-disciplinary therapy team will be an advantage but is not necessary.

This particular vacancy is 4 shifts over Friday and the weekend. Wepay an additional weekend allowance which is currently $3 per hour.

**Essential requirements**:

- 2 years Caregiving experience.
- Current First Aid Qualification.
- Minimum of CareerforceLevel 3.
- Experience working alongside a multi-disciplinary team.
- Sound knowledge of manual handling techniques.
- Existing Work Visa with 2 New Zealand work referees.
