Auckland City, New Zealand Farrow Jamieson Full time

**About IANZ**
We’re lucky here in New Zealand. We take for granted that those responsible for assessing consents and inspecting new builds are up to the task. Except it’s not luck. We have people like you to thank for that - dedicated and talented individuals committed to delivering quality management. You’re part of a vital system that ensures that quality is not forgotten - and we’d love you to play an even bigger role in keeping our country the kind of place we all love living in.

IANZ’s work continues to grow and we need more industry experienced and technically brilliant people to join us as Quality Assessors. It’s a role that will get you out-and-about all over New Zealand, becoming familiar with applicable regulatory requirements and alongside local and international technical experts to ensure organisations have competent and robust quality and technical management systems. Here your love of continuous learning and innovation will be fully maximised.

**About the Role**
The role will involve planning and leading assessments of the quality and technical management systems in councils and organisations that provide building inspection services throughout New Zealand. Research of regulatory requirements, face-to-face audits and verbal and written reports feedback form part of most assessments.

**About the Benefits**
For you, that means no more 9 - 5, but flexible hours and the opportunity to work from home when you need to. It’s a largely autonomous role where you organise your own workload and enjoy a varied workload across different industries. Your Koru Club membership will make your travel more comfortable and your free carpark will also get your day off to a stress-free start. Of course, before you are let loose, you’ll receive up to six months of comprehensive training and the on-going support of our dedicated (and seriously passionate) assessment team.

**About the Culture**
You can also look forward to outstanding IT support and tools to help you stay mobile and a wonderful culture when you are in the office, including free fruit, an awesome coffee machine, social events (if you’re keen to participate in them) and a steady stream of cake (because we like to celebrate birthdays and work anniversaries). There are also opportunities for advancement and to develop your career internationally.

**About You**
To be up for this challenge you will have the following:

- A tertiary qualification
- Experience in a consent/inspection or quality focused role
- A passion for buildings/construction
- An “inquisitive” nature
- Strong report writing skills
- Good client liaison skills with the ability to present professionally
- A willingness to be away from home for 8 to 10 days per month

If you’re keen to get out-and-about and use your expertise in an exciting new way, then you could be the right fit for Team IANZ. Contact David Ireland on
