**Role Overview**:
**Position**: Flexible Mobile Repair Technician
**Location**: Timaru
**Hours**: 30 - 45 hours per week (workload dependent)

**Pay rate**: $29.66 - 32/hr
**Employment Type**: Permanent role with Flexible/Variable Hours (between 30 - 45 hours per week)

**Requirements**:

- Full driver’s licence
- Must pass drug and alcohol screening

**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform **workshop and mobile vehicle glass repairs** on small and large vehicles
- Conduct **fleet inspections** to assess and report on vehicle glass conditions
- Actively **engage with new potential customers** to generate business and expand client relationships
- Provide **exceptional customer service**, ensuring clear communication and professional interactions
- Convert customer enquiries into work orders and recommend additional services where applicable
- Accurately complete **job-related administration and record-keeping**:

- Ensure **health and safety** protocols are always followed

**What We're Looking For**:

- **Prior experience in automotive glass repair (essential)**:

- Strong **customer engagement and sales** ability
- **Flexibility and adaptability** - capable of adjusting hours based on workload
- Strong **communication and interpersonal** skills
- **Self-motivated** with a proactive approach to finding new business opportunities
- Excellent **attention to detail** and a focus on delivering quality workmanship
- **Good hand-eye coordination** to ensure precision in repairs
- **Pleasant and professional customer manner**:

- **Physical fitness and agility** - ability to move in and out of vehicles, climb ladders, and lift products
- Competent with **hand-held technology** such as tablets and smartphones

**Additional Requirements**:

- **Results-driven** team player
- Good **problem-solving** skills
- Availability to work a **flexible schedule** depending on demand
- Comfortable **driving up to 400km in a day** for mobile services
- Ability to **drive a company vehicle** to complete work at client sites
- Must have a **valid driver’s licence** and **safe driving record**:
