**He aha te mahi? What’s the role?**:
The Financial Systems Analyst is primarily responsible for maintaining the accuracy and reliability of financial models and reporting systems at Zespri. This position requires a mix of financial expertise and technical skills to ensure that the financial data and models used by Zespri are dependable and consistent.

You will be working with the finance team and business to operate, maintain and improve key systems and services to create the necessary environment for a high performance business. This role may design new system solutions, modify, enhance or adapt existing systems and integrate new features or improvements, all with the aim of improving business efficiency and productivity.

With the support of the Systems and Master Data team, you will help lead the Financial function to adapt best practice in data management and reporting technologies, drive behaviour to align with single source of truth principle. You will also work closely with the Continuous Improvement team to deliver improvements to internal reporting including systems development, forecasts and annual budget preparation and assisting with financial result preparation.

In essence, your role as a Financial Systems Analyst is pivotal for maintaining the financial health of the organization. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and collaboration with various teams contribute to accurate financial reporting, informed decision-making, and the overall success of the business.

You will have strong numerical, problem solving and analytical skills with an ability to identify the big picture and drive down to details to achieve outcomes. You will also meet the following selection criteria:

- Tertiary qualification in accounting, finance or IS
- Strong knowledge of ERP financial modules and data structures, (SAP S4HANA or SAC experience would be an advantage), and advanced spread sheeting abilities
- Experience with databases and confident writing and maintaining queries
- Experience in functional financial systems role directly supporting end users
- Results oriented with a strong focus on quality and meeting customer needs
- An ability to establish strong relationships while building effective networks of contacts within the organisation
- Demonstrated high level of skill in both verbal and written communication, with the ability to identify and clearly articulate issues
