Sales Engineer Nz

John Crane Australia is seeking a full-time, permanent Sales Engineer for our Auckland, NZ office.
As Sales Engineer you will be responsible for generating sustainable growth in market share and top line sales of John Crane New Zealand (JCNZ).
**Some of your key duties will include**:
- Develop new commercial business and expand existing end user and OEM business.
- Manage end user and OEM business in New Zealand; identify and create additional partnership opportunities.
- Preparation, negotiation, and approval of business development opportunities.
- Customer contract management.
- Understand John Crane New Zealand’s market and develop new strategic solutions.
- Develop and implement short term and long-term business growth strategies to achieve the sales goals.
- Provide accurate quarterly and annual business forecasts and achieve these targets.
**Education, Experience and Licenses**
- Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering/Technical/Marketing or equivalent.
- Experience working with rotating equipment or within the sealing industry
- Minimum of 5+ years of extensive and proven experience in a Technical Sales Management capacity (preferable).
- Proven knowledge of contract pricing, negotiation, and structures.
- Proven results in a sales and marketing business arena
- Working rights for New Zealand
