Auckland City, New Zealand OCS Limited Full time

**OCS** is seeking a strong reliable, employee to help us provide waste consolidation and sorting services at our customer’s sites. Working mainly out of usual business hours, this role aids in keeping as much waste materials as possible from ending up in landfill.

As a waste operator you will be responsible for:

- Checking waste material to ensure it is appropriate to be disposed of through current bin system
- Follow the correct procedures when something out of the ordinary is found;
- Separate landfill waste from recyclable materials;
- Accurately record the weight of the differing waste streams;
- Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the waste area(s) and waste/recycling resources.

Other responsibilities and duties may be requested of you from time-to-time as opportunities to deal with waste related items or issues arise.

We will provide you with training, a uniform and any equipment required to help you carry out this role.

**Requirements**:

- Clean Full NZ Licence (as may be required to drive company vehicle at times)
- No Convictions
- Physically fit
- Fluent written and verbal English
- Able to work at night

Any experience in processing, manufacturing, or other similar fields is a bonus, but not required.
