HEB Construction is a dynamic and innovative leader in the construction of New Zealand's Infrastructure. We are involved with a variety of projects from road construction and maintenance through to earthworks, drainage, marine works, and major projects of national significance.

We are proud to be part of the Alliance team, working alongside Fulton Hogan, Aurecon, and Tonkin & Taylor to deliver the O Mahurangi (Penlink) project for Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency. This vital new transport link will support the growing communities of Silverdale, Whangaparāoa and the Hibiscus Coast by improving connectivity across north Auckland.

We are looking for a Bridge Superstructure Lead to take charge of the superstructure components of the Weiti River Bridge build. The Weiti River Bridge is a stunning 540m long extra dosed stay cable bridge, the first of its kind in NZ. If you are a seasoned professional with a passion for structural engineering and a knack for leading complex civil projects, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact.

**Key functions of the role are**
- Leading the delivery of long-span bridges, reinforced concrete, and post-tensioning works
- Overseeing temporary and permanent structural solutions from early design through to execution
- Managing subcontractors, construction timelines, and quality assurance
- Navigating technical challenges and collaborating with designers and engineers
- Driving safety, performance, and innovation across your team

**About you**
- Proven experience in complex civil construction, especially bridge and concrete works
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Confidence in planning and delivering structural strategies
- Sharp time management and decision-making under pressure
