We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Engineer - Bridges & Civil Structures to lead and deliver major infrastructure projects, focusing on transport, water, and energy sectors. In this role, you will provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and play a key role in business development by securing new work opportunities.
**The Opportunity**
- Lead the design and delivery of bridge and civil structure projects, ensuring they meet high technical and quality standards.
- Provide technical leadership to the local team, mentoring junior staff and reviewing complex structural designs.
- Manage project budgets, resources, and schedules while ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards
- Play a key role in securing new work by leading bid submissions and supporting the business development process.
- Undertake construction supervision and manage the completion of associated documentation, including PS4 certifications.

**Is this role right for you?**
- Over 12 years of experience in civil and structural engineering, with a focus on major infrastructure projects.
- Bachelor of Engineering (Washington Accord) and professional certifications (CPEng, CMEngNZ, Auckland Council High Risk).
- Strong proficiency in structural analysis software such as Midas, GSA, Strand, SpaceGass, and Autodesk Bridge Design (SAM).
- In-depth knowledge of NZTA Bridge Manual design requirements and local industry regulations.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to mentor, motivate, and manage project teams effectively.
