**About the Role**:
As they continue to grow, they seeking a skilled and motivated Chartered Structural Engineer to join the team on a **part-time or full-time basis**. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for designing seismic restraints for mechanical services in the HVAC industry, drafting detailed drawings, and performing site visitations to sign off on PS4 Producer Statements.

Other responsibilities include:

- Design seismic restraint systems for mechanical services in HVAC installations
- Draft detailed structural drawings and ensure compliance with NZS 4219:2009 and other relevant standards.
- Conduct site visits to inspect installations and provide PS4 sign-offs.
- Collaborate with our engineering and installation teams to ensure the highest quality of work.
- Provide expert advice on structural and seismic matters related to HVAC installations.
- Travel around the South Island to sites for project inspections and PS4 sign-offs.

**About You**:

- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status in New Zealand.
- Proven experience in structural engineering, with a focus on seismic design.
- Strong proficiency in CAD drafting (Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Plandroid)
- Excellent understanding of New Zealand building codes and standards, particularly NZS 4219:2009.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
