Looking for a Principal Consultant in our security practice, with deep experience in cloud security particularly in an Azure environment, covering M365 and identity to be pivotal part of our professional services team.

**The role**:

- You'll act as the lead engineer & consultant for technical client engagements in security focused on Azure Security and Microsoft Defender M365.
- Day to day, you'll drive, deliver and oversee the architecture, assessments, solutions, and implementation for our clients.
- Your focus will be protecting Azure security environments, both consulting clients and hands-on in delivering effective cloud security solutions.
- You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify security risks, develop strategies to mitigate them, and ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
- As a consultant, you'll also be working closely with clients to conduct workshops for clients, communicate and present discoveries to Senior Management and Executive stakeholders (including C-Suite & Directors) and ensure appropriate stakeholders are effectively engaged in the formulation of the ‘secure-by-design’ architecture.
- As a Principal, you'll also influence governance, processes, and documentation within the practice.
- Based anywhere in Australia, you will be an Australian citizen ideally with AGSVA clearance (Baseline, NV1, NV2, PV, PVA)
- Significant consulting, architecture & delivery experience in the cloud security space, particularly in a Microsoft cloud native environment.
- Ability to understand business requirements and design effective solutions
- Top level hands-on engineering skills in implementing security solutions including Azure Security, Sentinel as Code, Azure Defender for Cloud, MS Defender, MDCA, Purview, IaC (Terraform/ PowerShell), Network Security, IAM/ Privileged Access & Vulnerability Management., Security Orchestration and DevOps, Gateway and Network security, & Identity/ Privileged Access & Vulnerability Management.
- Top level communication skills and high-end consulting experience, with the ability to effectively deal with business and technical stakeholders
- Experience in mentoring and guiding other engineers
