**About the role | He kōrero whakamārama mō tēnei tūranga**
Your role as a Nursing Administrator is crucial in delivering integrated and client-centered referral management and coordination services across all our Nursing contracts. You play a vital part in facilitating the seamless flow of referrals into our organization, ensuring that the processes of receiving, triaging, workload allocation, and administrative functions are standardized throughout the business.
**This is a full-time, permanent position based at our Burnside office in Ōtautahi Christchurch.**
As part of a healthcare organisation committed to supporting our community, this role follows a rotating schedule:
- **Week One**: Tuesday to Sunday
- **Week Two**: Tuesday to Friday
Weekday hours are **8:30am to 5:00pm**, and weekend hours are **8:00am to 4:30pm**.
Due to the nature of our services, availability to work public holidays and during the end-of-year holiday period is required.
- **Client Onboarding**: Be the first point of contact, welcoming clients and coordinating high-quality services to meet their needs.
- **Record Management**: Maintain accurate records and ensure timely referral processing to the relevant branch/clinician.
- **Nursing Referrals**: Manage HCNZ ACC Nursing referrals, including entering data, loading services, and setting budgets and schedules.
- **Smooth Onboarding**: Ensure new Nursing clients are set up accurately and experience a seamless onboarding process.
- Provide relevant reports and other documentation to management as required
**What you will bring | Ngā tohungatanga mō tēnei tūranga**
- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy, along with advanced data entry skills.
- Previous administration support, particularly in the use of client management and/or other data and record based electronic systems.
- Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills and capability.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm and level-headed under pressure with a mature attitude to the workplace.
- Strong verbal communication, interpersonal skills and clear, responsive, and professional telephone manner.
- Ability to manage own time effectively and work with minimum supervision.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience using various client management systems.
