This new digital case management system will help modernise the administration of justice in Aotearoa New Zealand. **Te Haeata/The Opportunity**

We are looking for someone who has a passion for quality solution delivery to join our Digital and Information Team as the Test Manager within Te Au Reka. The ideal person has the ability to build effective working relationships which is key to engaging with colleagues and front-line staff across the Ministry.

You will be prepared to take ownership of the Test Strategy and its operational delivery while making use of the existing depth of experience for operational testing within the Ministry.

You will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, execution, and reporting of testing to ensure released functionality is fit for purpose, supportable and enables access to justice. You will have a passion for leadership, covering both self-leadership and the leadership of your team.

**Ō** pūkenga/Skills and Experience**

To be successful in this role you will have testing and test management experience in complex organisations, including:

- Experience leading technology professionals and test teams in a Business, Agile, Continuous Delivery and / or DevOps context.
- Oversight of test planning, design, execution, and reporting.
- Data driven evidence-based decision making to enable appropriate testing approaches, to achieve suitable quality assurance of a solution.
- Communicating with a wide range of audiences on a range of complex issues.
- Able to build and maintain a range of effective business relationships within an organisation and a wide network of professional relationships across organisations.
- Sound understanding of the machinery of government and experience in Te Ao Māori would be advantageous.

**Utu ā-tau/**Salary**

The appointing salary for this role is between $116,904-151,402 based on skills and experience.
