Commercial and Rural Product Manager

We’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity to join a talented, highly motivated team as a Product Manager, driving customer-focused solutions in the commercial and rural insurance sectors.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Product management and maintenance in accordance with governance, frameworks and charters.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Risk, Governance, Claims, Operations, and third-party providers to support the development of customer centric, end-to-end propositions that deliver meaningful value.
- Regularly review, maintain, and negotiate all agreed intermediary wordings, ensuring legal, risk and reinsurance input as required.
- Complete, present and maintain appropriate governance documents and attend relevant committees as required.
- Help drive value for our customers and business partners, by maximising sustainable profits and generate quality growth across portfolios.
- Leverage of scale, innovation and ways of working across Suncorp.
- Through effective proposition & product practices, make it easy for our customers and valued business partners to do business with us and enhance the customer experience.
- Actively support, encourage and embed collegiate ways of working amongst product practitioners across Suncorp NZ to leverage knowledge and capability to maximise business outcomes.
- Identify, develop and implement the identification of new opportunities to enhance the customer experience, simplify business process and create value for our customers, business partners and shareholders.

**Skills and Experience**
- An insurance related qualification is desirable.
- Experience in NZ and/or Global insurance and/or financial services market environment within a Commercial or Rural Insurance context.
- Experience in product management of 5+ years.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to effectively resolve conflict.
- Leadership and change management skills, consultation, influencing and negotiation capability.
