We're looking for driven, commercially astute consultants who thrive on solving complex contractual and quantum challenges and delivering meaningful outcomes for our clients across major infrastructure, civil, electrical/mechanical, and rail projects.

About You

You're a seasoned professional with a strong background in claims, quantum, and delay — someone who brings structure, insight, and commercial acumen to every engagement. You have the knowledge, ability and confidence to work autonomously, the curiosity to keep learning, and the professionalism to represent CCR with integrity and precision.

Attributes We Value

  • 7–20 years' experience in contractual and commercial management within engineering or construction environments.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or Law — with RICS/AIQS/NZIQS accreditation or similar.
  • Demonstrated expertise in claims preparation, defence, and dispute resolution (quantum and delay).
  • Proficiency with standard contract forms such as the NZS3910 and AS400 suites of contract, bespoke contracts and a deep understanding of contractual and commercial principles.
  • Exceptional communication and analytical skills, with the ability to engage effectively across technical, legal, and executive stakeholders.
  • A solutions-driven mindset, capable of working under pressure and delivering outcomes that stand up to scrutiny.
  • A collaborative yet autonomous working style — someone who contributes to team success while owning their space.
