Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity

Join the Primary Health Care System Improvement and Innovation group within Commissioning in the pivotal role of Manager, Rural Health. In this role, you will be key in driving development of rural health commissioning in Aotearoa. You will be responsible for establishing a new national Rural Health team, commissioning rural health services, and providing advice to senior leadership on rural health matters.

Mōu | About you

You are an experienced manager with substantial leadership experience in the health sector. You have a strong working knowledge of the primary health and community care context and Hauora Māori models of care.

This role is an 18 month fixed term opportunity and can be done anywhere around the motu

Proven ability to write and talk about complex issues clearly and concisely to a range of audiences, including Boards and Ministers

A proven track record in delivering complex health sector projects and programmes
