**The Role**

Reporting to our EM, Business Operations & Governance, this is a unique opportunity to lead and facilitate the development of NZI’s business plan in conjunction with enterprise planning frameworks, deliver market and performance insights and lead and deliver strategic initiatives for NZI.

**Key responsibilities**
- Lead and deliver business planning and governance processes within the Business Division (in particular, annual plans, quarterly reviews and key performance reports), in alignment with IAG NZ’s strategic planning frameworks.
- Represent the Business Division in enterprise planning forums and change initiatives working with project leads / change managers to ensure optimal delivery and embedment for the business unit.
- Act as a business team SME/representative on key forums across the business (EPF, AQP, platforms meetings etc) to ensure strategic and BAU activity for business division is prioritised and delivered.
- Lead and deliver strategic initiatives for NZI as required utilising resourcing across IAG NZ
- Develop and maintain highly effective relationships across IAG and with external parties as required.
- Deliver key performance reports for NZI, including the monthly NZI performance dashboard, and quarterly partnership performance reports for key partners.
- Deliver insights on market, competitor activity, and wider-industry trends, and insights on key partners.
- Proactively develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor on the development of business plans and strategy initiatives.
- Mentoring and coaching of direct report.
- Oversight and management of risk management and compliance activities where relevant.
- Awareness and compliance with the Group Delegations & Authorities Policy

**About You**
- 10+ years of relevant experience, demonstrated through well-developed interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
- Demonstrated ability in managing complexity, ambiguity and responding to change.
- Experience in identifying core problems and implementing innovative, timely and practical solutions.
- Developed leadership skills with a proven ability to role model values and behaviours.
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategic priorities and business plans into an executable programme of work
- Demonstrated ability to connect planning, prioritisation and delivery within a complex environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills and leadership team level.
- Good working knowledge of NZI and the insurance industry (preferred).
- Tertiary qualification(s) in related fields.
