***About the Role**:
**Lead a team of supply chain professionals responsible for both logistics execution and integrated demand/supply planning to optimize network costs and ensure customer satisfaction.**
**Drive collaboration across sales, operations, and other functions to align short and medium, supply chain strategies with business objectives and day-to-day operation.**
**Ensure the successful execution of logistics and supply chain planning processes, delivering efficient operations while balancing service quality and cost.**
**Key Responsibilities may include**:
- **Develop and implement logistics strategies that support revenue growth, optimize costs, and deliver the highest service levels to customers.**:
- **Collaborate with sales, operations, and planning teams to create short, medium, and long-term demand and supply forecasts, ensuring alignment with business goals.**:
- **Lead the integrated demand, supply, and transport review process within the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) framework, driving efficient planning and decision-making.**:
- **Oversee the continuous planning and optimization of the supply chain network, balancing service delivery with cost efficiencies.**:
- **Manage the coordination of cross-functional teams to improve planning capabilities, reduce operational costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.**:
- **Participate in strategic supply chain projects, contributing to business and operational strategies that drive long-term success.**:
- **Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of logistics and demand/supply planning professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.**:
- **Ensure data integrity across logistics and planning processes, producing accurate reports and insights to support ongoing performance improvements.**
- **Significant logistics management experience, with exposure to demand and supply planning**:
- **Experience in retail or FMCG supply chain management**:
- **Strong ability to articulate data points into meaningful language and recommend strategies to optimise outcomes**:
- **Experience using JDA Planning Software for stock and production management**:
- **A strong continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to demonstrate programs of value delivery**:
- **A desire to take the lead in driving the supply chain function forward**:
- **Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise across all level**:
- **Proven tenacity with the ability to drive team to accomplish stretch goals**:
- **Tertiary qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain or a related discipline**:
- **An understanding of the mechanics of logistics and supply chain, including network analysis and optimisation**
